Farnham's Bob Lacey wins prestigious England Golf Award

Many of you will know that FGC member Bob Lacey is heavily involved with Surrey Golf and gives up his time and expertise generously to help develop junior golf across the County.

Last night, Bob was invited to the annual England Golf Awards Ceremony in Manchester as a nominee in the Volunteer of The Year Category. Bob beat his peers to claim the award and we extend our congratulations to him on a thoroughly deserved accolade.

Bob has been the driving force behind the Surrey Rookie Tour, JAGS events, county championships, Surrey Schools competitions, and the management of the U12, U13, and U14 squads. His tireless efforts have provided more than 150 young golfers with well-organised, enjoyable, and educational experiences, helping shape the next generation of talent.
