Greenkeepers

Working under the direction of the Head Greenkeeper or his Deputy, the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that the course and practice facilities are maintained to a first class playing condition as well as assisting with a number of exciting course projects, including heathland restoration, woodland management and complete bunker refurbishment.

Full time, Part time and Seasonal opportunities are available. Salaries are negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications. Full training support will be given to trainees.

Qualified Chefs

We are seeking a qualified Chef(s) to join our dedicated Kitchen team. We offer an excellent working environment, straight shifts and the opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career.

Main Responsibilities:

To support the House Manager/Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen on a day to day basis
To monitor and maintain the quality of food preparation, production, presentation and service
To ensure a smooth and efficient service therefore providing members and their guests with an excellent catering experience
To ensure that the Club standards are delivered and budgeted financial results are achieved
To ensure that at all times appropriate standards of hygiene, maintenance and safety are in place
To lead and motivate the kitchen team and assist with their training and development
To assist the Head Chef with menu planning and development
To support the catering service and overall success of the on-course catering facility

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a similar role is expected
Golf Club experience desirable but not essential
Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent along with Food Safety In Catering Certification
A sound understanding of food hygiene requirements
Be passionate about delivering quality food and excellent customer service
Be efficient, organised and work well within a team and lead and motivate others
Great communication skills
A flexible and adaptable attitude
Willingness to support weekend cover and some evenings, as per Club event requirements

Remuneration: Negotiable depending on experience.
