Men's Captain - Mark Fewings

With various roles in Management within the Finance and Insurance Industry and Management of sports teams I have now retired. I am honoured to Captain the Club with its continued progress on and off the course.

Lady Captain - Jeannie Archer

Having been a member at Farnham for 10 years, I am honoured to hold the role of Ladies Captain, in which I am responsible for the organisation of the Ladies section in conjunction with the Ladies Committee, Pro Shop and Office administration.

Men's Vice Captain - Tim Stubbs

I have been a member of Farnham since 2012. Whilst naturally providing support to the Captain my primary committee role is overseeing membership with General and Assistant Managers. I also assist with the Seniors & Midweek sections and the Social Committee and have the role of Seniors Summer Friendlies Fixtures Secretary.

Immediate Past Men's Captain - Dave Brown

I thoroughly enjoyed my year as Captain last year. My role now on the committee is to support the Captain, utilising my knowledge as previous year’s captain, and offer suggestions for enhancements as and when necessary. I am also the committee’s representative on Bar and Catering.

Committee Member - Leigh Fitzgerald

I have been a member at Farnham for 25 years now, and in my role as Member & Committee Liaison, I have responsibility for acting as the contact point for members on communications that fall within the Committee’s remit.

Committee Member - Stuart Mitchell 

I have been a member of Farnham Golf club since 1996, having moved through the junior ranks. I have a general role as a committee member and provide support to both the junior section and the Men’s scratch team.

Committee Member - Julian Lewer

I have worked in the building industry for many years and been a member of Farnham for over six years. I believe my experience in the industry will help with the on-going improvements around the Club building projects as the Committee's Facilities Planning Liaison.

Committee Member - Ian Crompton (Competitons Committee Chair)

My role as Competitions Secretary and Competitions Committee Chairman is to oversee the smooth running of all the Men’s competitions throughout the year and to liaise with the Office over any matters arising along the way.

Men's Committee Secretary - Paul Craven

I have been a member of Farnham for 12 years, and in this, I have the responsibility or recording the discussions at each committee meeting, and ensuring the actions discussed and agreed at each meeting are tracked and followed through. I also represent the committee in liaising with England Golf for any such events held at our club.

Handicap Secretary - Callum Sneddon

My role is to maintain comprehensive, up-to-date player scoring records containing enough history to enable the accurate calculation of a player’s Handicap Index, including the review of all Handicap Indexes at least once a year to ensure they reflect members’ actual or demonstrated ability, making and communicating fair adjustments as required.

PGA Golf Manager - Rob Colborne

As Golf Manager, I hold the responsibility for all aspects relating to the golf within the club, and my position on the committee is therefore to provide support to the Men’s Captain and other committee members in managing competitions, amendments of rules, policies, ensuring members have the most up-to-date knowledge of what is happening on and off the course.

Bill Talbot - Club President

Being appointed President of this great club was indeed a deep honour. I hope to therefore bring my many years’ experience at Farnham Golf Club to the forefront in supporting the Captain and his committee in ensuring continued progress in the evolution of our club.
