Captains’ Invitation Mixed Team Event

Dear Secretary/Manager,

This invitation is warmly extended to your Club Captains, to play in our Captain’s Invitation Team Event this summer.

The event consists of a light breakfast on arrival, an 18-hole team competition, a two-course meal, and prizes.

It would be much appreciated if you could indicate your availability to play and complete the enclosed entry form on behalf of your Club. Please return it along with the appropriate entry fee at your earliest convenience. Alternatively, entry can be made online via the following link - 

Competition Details 

TEAM:  Four players, consisting of any combination of current Captains’, Vice Captains’, or past Captains’.  Each team must include at least one lady. 

FORMAT:  18 Holes, 4 Ball Stableford with the best 2 scores to count. Men to play from Purple tees with Ladies playing from Gold.  Shot-Gun Start 

PRIZES:  1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, plus best front & back nines and spot prizes 

ENTRY FEE:  £200 (includes coffee & pastries & 2 course summer buffet meal) 

CLOSING DATE:  Wednesday 1st April 2026
