Course Status

Farnham Golf Club: Course Open from 3:45pm - The weather is being monitored and will close again if further lightning threats are detected. Clubhouse access via the Patio. Temporary Golf Office now operational in the Portacabin.
Practice Facilities: The Royal Navy Training Squad will be on the Short Game Area from 9am - 1pm. Very limited space available at these times. The driving range is closed for ball collection and turf maintenance every Monday and Friday between midday and 2pm
Clubhouse: HWH 09.30 - 16.30 Bar 08.00 - 22.00 Kitchen 08.00 - 16.00 Sausage Rolls available at the HWH ***TAKING BOOKINGS FOR CHILL AND GRILL SUNDAY LUNCH 17/08/25***

Established in 1896, Farnham Golf Club (The Sands) is situated in the heart of the Surrey countryside, between Farnham and Guildford, offering some of the most peaceful and tranquil surroundings the county has to offer.

With an exciting layout over sandy geology, stunning woodlands and a smooth blend of acid grasslands and heather, Farnham is a true Surrey classic.

Current projects include restoration works to expand the heath, develop ecology, and expose stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
