The Silver Frigate is Farnham's main Open for the men, in 2010 the tournament has been moved to early July so players can experience Farnham at its very best. This event was first played in 1934 and is always oversubscribed, it is also qualifies for the Surrey County Golf Union's Order of Merit. The competition is a 36 hole event with seperate competitions for the scratch and handicap players. The winner of The Silver Frigate is the player with the lowest net score over 36 holes. Entry is limited to handicaps of 12 and below, please contact the club for more details or click on the attachment to download an entry form. Only players with active handicaps will be accepted.
